Dark chocolate loaded rice cakes
2 steps, 2 ingredients, 2 minutes... this is my absolute favourite snack which will satisfy any craving for sweet or salty foods, any time, any day.
Ingredients:
1 rice cake
1 teaspoon of melted dark chocolate (roughly 2 small squares of a chocolate bar)
Method:
1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave. This should not take long at all, about 10 seconds at a time then stir until liquid
2. spread in a thin layer over the rice cake and cover. leave to set for half an hour then enjoy!!
To Load...
Here is the fun part, and for this, you can be as creative as you would like!
Add your extra ingredients on top of the melted chocolate on the rice cake so it sticks...here are some topping ideas:
dried fruit
nuts
marshmallows
crystallised ginger
sea salt
smarties
white/milk chocolate chips
sunflower seeds
desiccated coconut
